Pastor Howard T. Lingard, Sr. — Senior Pastor
Pastor Howard T. Lingard, Sr. is a devoted servant of God, seasoned leader, and compassionate shepherd with a lifelong commitment to ministry, service, and spiritual leadership. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Perpetual Healing and Deliverance Ministry, where he ministers alongside his wife, Prophetess Lakesha Lingard. Together, they are committed to advancing the Kingdom of God, preaching the Gospel, and empowering believers to walk in faith, healing, and deliverance.
Pastor Lingard's academic journey reflects his deep commitment to theological excellence and spiritual development. He is a graduate of Faith Institute of Theology in Orlando, Florida, where he earned a non-traditional bachelor's degree. He furthered his studies at St. Leo University, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Religion, and later earned a Doctorate degree in Religion from Central Florida Theological Seminary.
In addition to his pastoral work, Pastor Lingard serves the State of Florida as one of its first African American chaplains and currently holds the position of Senior Chaplain in Region 2. In this role, he provides spiritual guidance, counseling, and support, impacting countless lives through his wisdom, compassion, and unwavering faith.
Pastor Lingard is also a proud military veteran, having honorably served for 21 years, 8 months, and 3 days before retiring in 2006. During his distinguished military career, he completed extensive leadership training, including Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC), Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course (BNOC), Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course (ANOC), and Senior Leadership programs across the United States. His service included international deployments to the Republic of Panama and a tour in Iraq, as well as participation in numerous humanitarian missions throughout Florida and beyond.
Pastor Lingard is the ninth of fourteen children born to the late Deacon Charlie Lingard and Etta Lingard in Geneva, Florida—a heritage he holds with great honor and responsibility. Raised in a home grounded in faith, he reflects deeply on the foundation his parents provided. Though he did not fully realize its significance at the time, he now recognizes the power of growing up in a Christ-centered environment—watching his father faithfully provide, seeing him daily, and being nurtured by parents who were committed to taking their children to church. Through Bible study, Sunday school, and regular worship, those early experiences helped shape the man of faith he is today.
Family remains central to Pastor Lingard's life and ministry. He is the father of five biological children and, through marriage, is blessed with three additional adult children. He is intentional about living out his faith before them—not only in word, but in action—seeking to both show and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. He believes strongly in the importance of guiding the next generation, demonstrating that it is possible to live for Christ faithfully on this journey home.
A man who truly loves the Lord, Pastor Lingard is passionate about serving people, strengthening families, and building communities rooted in faith. Together with his wife, Prophetess Lakesha Lingard, he continues to lead with vision, humility, and a heart for God's people. His life reflects integrity, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to God, making him a trusted leader, mentor, and example to all who encounter him.

Prophetess Lakesha Lingard
Lakesha Lingard is the wife of Pastor Howard Lingard and serves faithfully alongside him at Perpetual Healing and Deliverance Ministries, where she is ordained as a Prophetess. With a heart for both spiritual restoration and emotional healing, she bridges ministry and mental health to empower individuals and families toward wholeness.
Lakesha is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida and a certified Trauma Therapist. She is well-versed in several evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She currently operates her private practice, Empowering 4 Purpose, LLC, where she provides faith-informed counseling to help clients find healing, hope, and renewed purpose.
Before launching her private practice, Lakesha dedicated 13 years to nonprofit service, beginning in an entry-level position and rising to the role of Department Director. During that time, she gained extensive experience working with children and families referred by the Department of Children and Families, as well as the Department of Juvenile Justice. Her career also included serving as an intake counselor and therapist at an all-girls school and providing trauma-focused therapy to children who had experienced abuse, neglect, and other forms of adversity.
Beyond her professional and ministry roles, Lakesha is a proud mother of three young adult children and has joyfully gained bonus children and extended family through her marriage to Pastor Howard. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Community Care and Counseling at Liberty University, continuing her commitment to lifelong learning and compassionate service.
Prophetess Lakesha is deeply passionate about outreach and believes in extending the love of Christ beyond the church walls. Under her and Pastor Howard's leadership, Perpetual Healing and Deliverance Ministries engages in outreach efforts that include prison ministry, feeding the community, and serving at local homeless shelters—just the beginning of what God has in store for the ministry's future.
